beehive buried in sand = baklava = sandcastle soaked in honey
Sun showers. Dripping and heaps shiny. Everything so blinding because it’s wet as and reflecting the sun which is a big ball that’s on fire a really long way away from us.
We are an ideal distance from a large ball thats on fire.
In a spot where our front isn’t being burnt but is hot enough that it offsets the temperature of our back, which faces out into the cold dark.
If you looked at someone’s bare arm from the side while they were facing a large fire you could tell the difference between their front and back because there would be a type of shadow like the one on the moon when its half-full.
I would like to stand on the half-full moon halfway-in and halfway-out of the shadow. Like standing on a cosmic state-line.
Actual state-lines are underwhelming. Mostly just something about fruit flies.
But being halfway-in and halfway-out of the shadow on the moon would be intense.
Just your breath in a space helmet.
If I were on the moon I would throw stuff. I would find out if I could throw something into space while standing on the moon because the moon has no atmosphere and less gravity than earth.
I would chuck an empty coke can at the planet earth while standing halfway-in and halfway-out of the shadow on the moon.
When you were a kid you and some friends made a new way to drink soft drink.
We’d stand in a line out the front of Petersham pool with cans of coke from the pool kiosk and we’d throw them repeatedly against a bit of concrete that was part of the public toilets. Eventually the cans would get so banged up that they’d spring a small leak. They would spray a thin, constant stream of coke because they were so well shaken from the repeated throwing. If you put your mouth over the hole it would force coke down your throat.
Staring at the clothesline lying on a bench in the garden at night. It’s the kind of clothesline that pulls out from one wall and hooks onto another wall on the opposite side of the garden. Past the clothes line is the sky. If you look at the sky some optical deal makes the clothesline move like an escalator…
There is a lint constellation on my pants
They are black fisherman’s pants that are my girlfriends but that I have become the foster parent of. I wear black fisherman’s pants and a black T-shirt and black nike slides while making promite and ricotta toast in the house, in the dark, at night. I’m feeling like a ninja. I am 100% stealth except for my black nike slides that have two bright white ticks on them and click loudly on the soles of my feet when I walk.
Have you ever found yourself washing a popped basketball in a kitchen sink?
You are washing a popped basketball in a kitchen sink.
There might come a time when instead of throwing your entire heart at someone’s face you will hold onto a small bit of it for yourself.
People can potentially have this happen to them.
Each time they try throw their heart at someone’s face they keep a hold of a bit more for themselves so that eventually they throw maybe close to zero of their heart at someone’s face and because the piece weighs close to zero the other person doesn’t even notice or it’s just like a mild annoyance instead of potentially a thing.
It gives me such a good feeling to sit under the moon with you. We are on the oval which has very green grass and a hard cracked patch where a cricket pitch was or is about to be. The oval is kind of a green drawing of the moon. Big and round and green moon diagram.
We have cameras trained on the actual moon. My weather app tells me that the moon is 100% full tonight. We spend some time trying to make videos of it because it is 100% a circle, and we are inside of a big circle that is on a sphere that would look like a circle from the moon.
When we go to leave you find this little white circle on the ground. It looks like an air-hockey puck. It’s just a piece of plastic. Who knows why it is out here.
We watched a big white circle reflecting a large ball that’s on fire from a big sphere that would look like a bluish/greenish circle from the moon while within a big green circle which held a small white circular air-hockey-puck-type-thing inside it.
I am walking home. I am dizzy.
